When I visited Florida one of my favourite days out was Universal Studios alongside Disneyland (who doesn’t love visiting Disneyland) and during my time in America, I experienced plenty of new experiences. One of the places I was most excited to visit when I was planning the trip was Universal Studios. Being a film student and of course, the theme of Universal is the entertainment industry, particularly TV and movies. Now, although I am not a big fan of rides, the park was suitable for all ages and we found some different things which I went on.
The park was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. It was rammed on the day we chose to go as it was the weekend of labour day and we didn’t realise. The park consisted of different things made by Universal including some classics such as Despicable Me, Harry Potter, The Simpsons & ET. The park also had some cool gift shops, a tornado simulator and a special effects class.
Being in Universal Studios is a surreal experience as it has memorabilia all over the place from some of the films. Alongside creating sets as they’d of looked during filming to show off how cool they look. The park is one experience I won’t be forgetting in a while. I have to say, I wish I’d worn different shoes, as my feet were killing towards the end of the day. With colour, memories and yummy food around.
As I am the worst blogger ever, I didn’t take as many photos as I’d hoped, but here are some of my favourite snaps from Universal Studios.
If you plan on visiting Florida take a trip to Disneyland and Universal Studios. It’s well worth the money and also get yourself a toffee apple they’re amazing!
