New Year, New Stationery!
I’ve actually set somewhat of a New Years resolution this year, I am avoiding the cliche ones which I know I won’t stick to. Instead, I am going to work on improving my skills instead of trying to create whole new goals. In 2020 I am vowing to improve my organisation skills. With some awesome pieces of stationery, the new year has never looked so organised.
So how do I plan to get more organised this year? Stationery of course, and some other handy ideas. Keep reading to find out more!
Keep track of the days
Working from home makes it a lot easier to forget what day it is and lose track with appointments, what I’m supposed to be doing on that day and any upcoming pieces of work that are due. Being organised and having a more planned schedule, allows you to be less stressed. With my new Happy Jackson desk calendar from Danilo, it will become easier to mark off the days and also write down appointments and important dates. The calendar is also full of happy and positive messages, perfect for motivation.
Also from Danilo, I have a Pusheen desk planner for quick note writing and doodling before I add it to my calendar.

Use PopSockets to get organised
There are so many purposes for PopSockets that I didn’t even know about. After they sent me a lovely package full of them, I learnt how useful they really are. Not only do they stop you dropping your phone (on your face or the floor) but the PopSockets allow for your phone to stand up. By being able to have your phone propped in this way has plenty of benefits, including video calls, watching Netflix and taking photos are just a few of them.
Amazingly these PopSockets can be used on other devices, including tablets, which allows you to prop your tablet up. Perfect for me when I am writing on the go. PopSockets come in many designs and can even include an additional feature like a mirror.
Excitingly PopSockets has also developed car mounts, which work well for using your phone as a SatNav on the go! Oh and they actually stay put, the most annoying thing I’ve noticed about buying mounts is the fact they move around so much when on the dashboard.
You can purchase a large number of PopSockets from their site.

Use those notebooks (and pretty pens)
If you’re like me, you have no shortage of notebooks but you can’t help but buy them when they’re on sale. With Paperchase being one of my favourite shops, I often find myself looking at more notebooks every time I visit.
I was actually gifted a gorgeous on brand Legami notebook which will be my first notebook of the year to get started on. Plus it has doughnuts on the cover! I plan on writing my to-do lists throughout the notebook. Which will stop them getting lost, as sticky notes are not my friend.
Along with my notebook collection, I also love to collect pens, especially Sharpies and Spectrum Noir pens. Both come in a large range of colours and are always fun to get creative with. So these will be used to help me with my to-do lists and general day to day planning.
