There have been many places which have made on to my bucket list over the years. I have plenty of UK destinations to tick off my bucket list, a range of Stateside locations I am keen to visit and of course who doesn’t have a luxury destination or two on their bucket list? That’s why in 2024, I plan on finally living out my travel dreams and I’m ready to start ticking off some destinations on my travel bucket list. I aim to visit as many countries as I can by the time I turn 30, which is in 13 months (so I better get a move on). So here are 3 of the places I hope to tick off my travel bucket list in 2024.
The Maldives

One of the first places I want to tick off my travel bucket list is the luxury Maldives holidays, truly an exciting experience basking in the beautiful beaches and relaxation. With the picture-esq surroundings, gorgeous turquoise waters, and of course, as you’d expect it is perfect for island-hopping. With the Maldives being made up of 1,200 coral islands, full of adventure and experiences to have, it is a place like no other. Plus this is the perfect destination for UK tourists as it is hot all year round.
Now to time to see that luscious blue water, whilst drinking cocktails and most importantly relaxation central.
Tokyo, Japan
So this one may remain on my bucket list for a little while longer, as it is a bit more of a dream as opposed to a reality. However, I am so down when the time is right. With the number of kawaii shops (come at me Hello Kitty plushes), adorable cafes and even a Sanrio theme park! Outside of all of the cute places, there are also lots of amazing Temples and Shrines to visit. With Kanda Shrine offering an insight into Otaku Culture and Sensoji is the oldest temple in Toyko (and the most visited), they are both landmarks I’d love to see.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands
The final location on my 2024 bucket list is Amsterdam which is one of the places I’ve dreamed about visiting for so long, it will be made a reality in 2024 for sure. The museums, buildings, canals and iconic foods ahead, what it has to offer is truly unique. With Amsterdam hailing the title of Venice of the North! Top on my to-do list is to visit Rijksmuseum as it is the national museum of the Netherlands. Additionally, the Sex Museum has such amazing reviews and it is budget friendly too.
